AST Group trades FeNi from various suppliers (e.g., Madagascar, Indonesia, Japan, and South Africa). These products are used in the stainless steel, chemical, superalloy, and plating sectors. We also pursue business development in recycling metallurgical enterprises' slags and dumps.
The ferrous crushed stone (FCS) product processes ferrous metallurgical rolling and iron ore slags. It has a significant iron oxide content, extraordinary density (heavyweight), and high strength. The FCS is upcycled into a commodity from an industrial by-product diverted from landfills.
Ferrous crushed stone is used as an aggregate in heavy and super-heavy concrete, for the weighting of pipelines and constructions, as a mineral additive for mortar and loose ballast, and as a filler for producing a wide range of building materials. It is a non-toxic good in all its forms with no negative environmental impact.
Trade names: iron ore, ironstone, slag crushed stone of ferrous metallurgy, fine construction aggregate.
Mineral components for welding flux
An innovative solution for the production of high-temperature welding fluxes. Mineral components are a by-product of slag-forming flux production for steel making, confirming our approach to environmental responsibility and efficient resource utilization. Material undergoing multi-stage processing: grinding to a finely dispersed fraction of 0.5 microns in ball mills to granulation ensures exceptional homogeneity and reactivity of the raw material.
The chemical and granulometric composition of the raw material is as close as possible to the composition of welding flux, which will significantly reduce the cost of its production.
